Graduation and Dance Dates and Notes

Hello everyone! I am awarding 50 points of extra credit to every student who has their parent send a note that they saw this post!

Graduation Day: Tuesday, May 23rd - 9:00am-11:00am in the Grahamwood Cafeteria.

Notes: Parents, I have three pieces of advice for graduation day: arrive early, arrive early, and arrive early. Parking fills up so fast, and people actually begin sitting down around 8:00-8:15. That's pretty early and not necessary, but I would counsel you to plan to arrive no later than 8:30am.

After the ceremony, please stick around for our Friends and Family Cookout! Burgers, dogs, chips, and drinks will be served.

5th Grade Formal Dance: Thursday, May 25th - 6:00pm - 8:00pm in the Grahamwood Cafeteria

Notes: This is probably the most fun and memorable event of 5th grade! It's such a great way to close out the amazing 5th grade year we've had together. Parents, please let Mr. E know if you would like to volunteer for setup, take down, or chaperoning the dance itself (if you kid will let you!). We will also be looking for donations to cover some of the extra costs in order to keep this event free for every Grahamwood 5th grader!

End of the Year Water Fight: Friday, May 26th - 9:00am - 10:00am - Grahamwood Playground

Notes: Parents, siblings, everyone come join us we soak each other to the bone (in a calm and respectful manner)! This will be a huge laugh fest and one last hurrah. This event is for Martin and Emerson homerooms only, not 5th grade-wide.
